제주의 전통종이예술 기메인 가오리연은
제주에서 일만팔천 신들의 섬으로 알려진 곳에서 바람을 타고 다니는 신神들을 상징합니다.
제주기메 워크샵에서는 이러한 전통 가오리연을 직접 만들고, 아름답게 색칠하며 연을 날려보는 체험학습을 했습니다.
이 워크샵을 통해 우리는 제주의 신성한 바람을 느끼고, 우리의 소망을 바람에 담아 전달하는 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.
Jeju Gime Gaorilyeon(Jeju Gime Paper Swallow Kite)
The traditional paper art of Jeju, called “Gaorilyeon,” symbolizes the gods who ride the wind in a place known as the island of 18,000 gods in Jeju. During the Jeju Gime Workshop, we had the opportunity to create and beautifully color these traditional Gaorilyeon and experience flying the paper kite. Through this workshop, we were able to feel the sacred wind of Jeju and have a meaningful time to convey our hopes on the wind.
